How is GoDrive different from ride-hailing apps?
Ride-hailing apps connect you with whichever independent driver is nearby. GoDrive is a transport company: the drivers work for us, the vehicles belong to us, and every trip is planned with you in advance at a price agreed upfront.
Are your drivers employees or freelancers?
They are our own employees, not freelancers or outsourced staff. Every driver is hired after a thorough background check, and they answer directly to us.
Who owns the vehicles?
GoDrive owns every vehicle in the fleet. That lets us keep them in good condition both mechanically and cosmetically, with regular maintenance in our own workshops.
Will the price change on the day of the trip?
No. We agree the price with you before the trip and it stays fixed. There is no surge pricing at busy times, at night or in bad weather.
Can my booking be cancelled at the last minute?
Not from our side. Because the drivers and vehicles are under our control, there is no one who can back out of your booking.
Do I have to wait for a driver to accept my ride?
No. You book in advance and we confirm the driver and vehicle for you. For regular travel, such as staff pick & drop, we work with you to fix the schedule and route.
Are the vehicles insured?
Yes. Every vehicle in our fleet is insured.
How do you keep passengers safe?
Background-checked drivers who work for us, well-maintained vehicles, insurance on every vehicle, and a support team available 24/7 for every trip.
What happens if a vehicle has a problem on the road?
Our in-house backup support team steps in straight away and arranges a replacement, so your trip or route keeps running.
